Alvie passed away at the age of 63 in Tennessee.
She is interred next to her three little infant children; Charles Jenkins, Annie Jenkins and Hattie Jenkins. Her husband Thomas Jenkins is buried at Davis cemetery in Chattanooga.
I never had the honor of meeting my Grandmother Alvie - she passed away before I was born. However, I know one thing about her - she told her son Herbert (my Dad) about Jesus because he trusted Him as his Lord and Savior all of his life.
Thank you for my Dad Grandma! Rest in God's loving care.
