Tu was the constant companion of Betty Jane (Boward) and Paul Marion Fox during their later years at their home in Sabillasville, Frederick County, Maryland. He became their child in later years and was spoiled rotten, but they and all of the grandchildren loved him. After Betty's death in December of 2004 Paul and Tu were inseperable. Paul had a heart attack on Good Friday 2005. While he was in Waynesboro Hospital it was learned that Tu had cancer. He died at the Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital. Paul never knew and went directly to Rose Manor Assisted Living in Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania from the hospital.
