Born in Ansbach, Germany to Simon and Katharina (Moser) Rohr. She grew up and graduated from high school in Germany. She married SGT (Retired) George Paul Brown on June 15, 1962 in Babenhausen, West Germany. He died on December 31, 1985. She traveled with her husband in the military and came to the Lawton area in 1964. She was a homemaker and Lutheran.
Survivors include four daughters, Ursula Brink of Lawton, Karen Rhodes of Lonoke, Arkansas, Alexandra Cox of Lawton and Patricia Brown of The Colony, Texas; two sons, Horst and Bernhard Zsemba, both of West Germany; seven grandchildren, Angel Garrett, J.R. Cox and James Cox, all of Lawton, Chris Jones of Lonoke, Arkansas, Randy Jones of Searcy, Arkansas and Steven and Joey Fikes, both of The Colony, Texas; and three great grandchildren, Haylee Garrett and Taylin Cox, both of Lawton, and Jayden Jones of Searcy, Arkansas.
Services were in the St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Mayer, Pastor, officiating.
