He married Delilah Yoder on March 26,1932 in Nappanee,IN.
They had one daughter and three grandchilden. He belong to many clubs in La Porte and South bend. He was a member of the First United Methodist church.
When I was in elementary school, he would bring in geraniums to my teachers each year.

Preston was a loving and kind man. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoy watching the La Porte High School and I.U. basketball. He also loved to listen to baseball games. He loved to cook, shop and loved his farm.
