Thelma Griffiths Alvord passed away peacefully March 25, 2006. She was born January 18, 1923 to Alfred William and Clara Perry Griffiths. She married "the love of her life" Mearl Alvord January 19, 1943, Salt Lake City, Utah. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Thelma is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years; daughter, Sharlene Alvord; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Farrell Alvord; and great-grandson, Michael Tyler Alvord; brothers, Marvin and Perry Griffiths.
Funeral services Tuesday, March 28th, 2 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 So., in Sandy, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences at www.larkinmortuary.com.
