Edgar H. Burr, 66, of Fallbrook, California, died April 6, at his home.
He was a retired employee of the Pine Tree Lumber Company.
Mr. Burr, a native of Star City, was the son of the late Wylie and Flora Butler Burr.
He attended school at Garnett.
He was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ira Throneberry Burr; five sons, Ray Burr of Memphis, Quinton Burr, Eugene Burr and Vernon Burr, all of Fallbrook; and Esley Burr of Santa Barbara, California; a daughter, Mrs. Robbie Calhoun of Vista, California; three brothers, Elmer Burr and Travis Burr, both of Little Rock; and Havis Burr of Star City; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church at Star City by Reverend Michael Crane and Reverend Elmer Bryler. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery by South Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Harold Wesson, Mike Burr, Joe McGregor, Roy Clary, Ray Carr, Troy McGhee, Travis McGregor and Johnny Rogers.
