BYNELLA - Funeral services were held Tuesday 3 p.m. in St. Marcellus Catholic Church for Brent James Champagne, 23, who died Friday at his residence in Lafayette.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Champagne of New Iberia; one daughter, Monique Champagne of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Carl David and Chris J. Champagne, both of New Iberia; and one sister, Angela Marie Champagne of New Iberia.
He was a student at USL, native of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette at the time of his death.
