Mrs. Ruby Bolte of Nokomis Dies
Services were held Sunday at 2: p.m. at Steihl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, for Mrs. Ruby Fern (Poteet) Bolte 71, of Nokomis, who died at 9:45 a.m. Friday at Pana Community Hospital. Burial was in Witt Cemetery.
Mrs. Bolte was born in Coles County. She married Fred Bolte May 1, 1921 in Nokomis, who preceded her in death in 1958.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wanita Paden of Hillsboro, Mrs. Helen Petty of Nokomis, Mrs. Wilma Darnell of Witt: two sons William and Donald, both of Nokomis; a sister Mrs. Gertrude Cook, Louisville, Ky.; a brother Dewey Poteet, Sr. of Nokomis; 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
