Stanley E. 'Andy' Amspacher, 86, died at 1:40 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2003 at Rest Haven Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, York. He was the husband of the late Virginia K. 'Jo' (Owens) Amspacher. The viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom. The service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 15th at the Mortuary. Rev. William P. Walker, Pastor of Turnpike Baptist Church, Shrewsbury, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Freeland, Md. Born July 8, 1917 in Freeland, Md., he was a son of the late Adam and Jennifer (Williams) Amspacher. He retired from Black & Decker, Hampstead, Md. in the early 1980's after over 35 years of service. He is survived by one daughter, Linda D. Carter of Charlestown, WV; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dennis Amspacher of Glen Rock.
