The funeral will be held at noon Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 1155 President St. in Eugene for Dorothy L. Allen of Rexburg, Idaho, formerly of Eugene, who died May 25 of age-related causes. She was 94. A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the church and burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Allen was born on Aug. 28, 1916, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Clarence and Edith Huckaby Nay. She married Joseph Warr on March 30, 1934, in San Fernando, Calif. He died on Sept. 2, 1981. She married Elden Allen on May 5, 1989, in Seattle. He died on Jan. 27, 2007.

She was an artist who specialized in seascapes. She taught art classes and sold her paintings all over the country.

Survivors include five sons, Barry Warr of Phoenix; Steven Warr of Hockley, Texas, Roger Warr of Hendersonville, N.C., Dennis Warr of Rexburg, Idaho, and Joseph Warr Jr. of Clackamas; a sister, Margie Hornbeek of California; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A daughter, Sandra Warr, died when she was 2 months old.
