Ethel Bertha Burgess, much loved wife of Bud Harman passed into the loving arms of The Lord on June 18th, 2013. "Babe" as she was known to all, was born on January 30th, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana.

Babe graduated from high school in South Bend and married the love of her life, Orson "Bud" Harman in 1944. Shortly after marriage Babe and Bud relocated to Childress, Texas where Bud was an instructor bombardier on B-24s and B-29s.

Babe and Bud were happily married for 63 years sharing their life and love with four children, 2 sons and 2 daughters.

Babe's home was always filled with love, good food and happy times to all who were fortunate enough to visit. Her Holiday celebrations will always be remembered by all who loved her. During their 50th wedding anniversary celebration in 1993 Babe and Bud shared one of the confirmed Lewisville, Texas "Elvis" sightings to the amazement of all the celebrants, particularly the grandchildren present.

Babe was a loving mother, a wise and very sharing grandmother and a wonderful "Great-Grandma" to her seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
