Son of Floyd Edward McGuire and Ivy Mae Barlow

Obituary - Dad passed away peacefully with his family at his side July 4th 2012. Age 81. Dad was a fighter and he fought until the very end. Dad's spirit never gave up, but in the end his body couldn't match Dad's will to survive.

Born to Floyd Edward McGuire & Iva Mae Boyle (Barlow) in Albuquerque New Mexico. Adopted by James K. Boyle. Dad was a man of many talents and achieved many outstanding awards to list.

His life and career spanned many technologies and military programs that we could not imagine - Aerospace, Aircraft, Police Officer, High Technology, Father and Husband. But most of all Dad loved to be with his family and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and just talking and having fun. He loved his family.

Dad served in the Air Force during the Korean War and the United States Navel Reserve.

Dad's family loves him and will miss him in our lives, JoAnn, Eddie, Leslie, Carol, Troy, Nola and many others. In the end "Dad came home to his family".

A graveside celebration of Dad's life will be held Monday, July 9th, 2012 at 1:30. At Veterans Memorial Cemetery. 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd, Riverton, Utah.

Tribute - My Dad

He isn't much in the eyes of the world
He'll never maker history
No, he isn't much in the eyes of the world
But he is the world to me

My dad, now here is a man
To me he is everything strong
No, he can't do wrong, my dad

My dad, now he understands
When I bring him troubles to share
Oh, he always there, my dad

When I was small I felt ten feet tall
When I walked by his side
And every would say "That's his son"
And my heart would burst with pride

My dad, oh I love him so
And I only hope that some day
My own son will say
"My dad now here is a man"
