Donald H Drayer, 92, of Louisville, passed on Christmas Day, December 25, 2012 at his home.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army under General Patton as Commander of the Third Infantry Army Headquarters during World War II. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Croix de Guerre avec Etoile de Bronze medal along with several Ribbons.

He was an Honorary member of the Marine Corps; an avid hunter, boater, fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert J Drayer and Hazel Vera (Weant) Drayer, and his two sisters, Bernice Webb and Eunice Drayer.

Survivors are his loving wife of 69 years, 2 daughters, a son, 2 granddaughters, and a great-grandson. Burial with Military Honors at Cave Hill Cemetery.
