Born on August 16, 1934 in Blairstown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward D. and Gertrude (Lambert) Hooey and had lived in the area most of her life. She retired from Penn Hills Resort in East Stroudsburg many years ago after ten years of service in the housekeeping department.
Lois was a member of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg; and was an avid wrestling fan and bingo player.
She is survived by her seven children, Bonnie Roznos of Evansville, Indiana, Ronald Bogart and William Bogart, both of East Stroudsburg, Robert Bogart of Camerson, NC, and Brenda Rascona, Russell Bogart and Edward Bogart, all of Stroudsburg; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five brothers; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
