Margaret C. Blosser, 82, of Rockford died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Medina Manor Nursing Center after a long illness.

She was born June 30, 1929, in Rockford, daughter of Susanna and Vincent Enna. She married Thomas W. Blosser on Sept. 22, 1952. She lived on Meridian Road in Rockford more than 30 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she belonged to the Renew Prayer Group. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and devoted her life as a wife and mother.

Survivors include husband, Thomas W. Blosser; sons, William R. (Jeannie) Blosser and Brian D. (Kathy) Blosser, both of Rockford; and daughter, Linda (David) Medley of Durand; granddaughter, Selena S. DeMarco of AZ; grandson, Anthony V. (Kate) DeMarco of Chicago; granddaughter, Margaret T. Medley of Durand; grandson, Andrew J. Medley of Durand; great-granddaughter, Stella DeMarco; brother, Joseph Enna; numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by daughter, Theresa DeMarco Blosser in 1991; father in 1985; mother in 1978; and sister Christine Catcott.

Funeral mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at St. Anthony Church, with Franciscan Friars officiating. Interment after mass will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the church. Arrangements are with Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 707 Marchesano Drive.
