Mary Columbianna "Molly" Parker was born on May 17, 1860, in DeWitt County, Texas, to Alexander Hamilton and Maryann Elizabeth Caddell. She was the eldest of seven children and her siblings were Jefferson Davis "Jeff", Sarah Brooxie, Alexander Jackson, William Houston, Erie Jane and Franklin Lafayette "Frank" Parker. Her family were farmers and a religious, loving family. Her mother died in 1900 and her youngest brother, Frank died young, in 1902.

On October 31, 1878, Molly married William Franklin Neve, in Goliad, Texas. Together they had ten children and they were Alvin, Addie May, Althea Pearl, Eula Brooxie, William Alexander, Arthur Stanley, Elbert Lloyd, Carroll Erwin, Myrtle Fay and Curtis Howard Neve. Her family were farmers. Molly and William had to bury two daughters, together and then in 1926, Molly buried her dear husband William.

At the age of 76, Molly passed away, January 11, 1937, in Lingleville, Erath County, Texas.
