Velma Inez Cass, 87 of Madill passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. She was born on October 27, 1921 in Forestburg, Texas to the late Thomas Oscar Lesley and Mary Alice Muncrief Lesley. Inez was raised in Bromide and in 1949 she moved to Davis before moving to Madill where she lived the rest of her life. She married Allen Cass on August 12, 1942 in Tishomingo. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2002. She lived 30 years in the Linn Community and worked at the Madill and Marietta pants factory. She was a member of the Madill Church of Christ. Inez enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. She enjoyed anything outside.
