Joanne June Cameron, 76, of Battle Creek, died February 23, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospice Residence.
She was born December 18, 1932, the daughter of Rex L. and Pearl (Warsop) Tyler in Battle Creek.
Joanne graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and worked at Kellogg's for 38 years.
Joanne married Raymond Cameron on June 23, 1951 in Marshall. Raymond survives. Also surviving are son, Steve Cameron of Battle Creek; daughter, Cathy (David) Hawblitz of Battle Creek; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Betty Frost.
Joanne was a member of the Kellogg 25-Year Club and the Family Altar Church where she taught Sunday school. She loved children and reading the bible; she enjoyed baking, being outdoors and she loved animals, especially horses and dogs.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Shaw Funeral Home where services will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Codde, Chaplain, Good Samaritan Hospice, officiating. Interment, Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may go to Alzheimer's Association (107 Aprill Drive, Suite 1, Ann Arbor, MI 48103-1903) or Good Samaritan Hospice Care (Lifespan, 166 E. Goodale Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49017).
The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home.
