Mrs. Buckner was a retired public school teacher who taught in Ft. Stockton, Knippa, Center Point and Kerrville for 32 years. She was a member of Center Point Chapter No. 463 Order of the Eastern Star and the Methodist Church in Center Point.
Survivors include husband, Curtis C. Buckner of Center Point and two nieces, Martha Rodenbeck and Mildred Smith, both of Brenham.
Services will be on Friday, July 7, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels with interment following in Center Point Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
