JAMES JOYNER GANNAWAY JR., 74, and his wife, REBEKAH CAMERON DEATON GANNAWAY, 68, of Nesbit, both died of heart disease Saturday at their home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Nesbit Presbyterian Church, where they were members, with burial in Nesbit Cemetery. Hernando Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Gannaway was a receptionist at Graceland Internal Medical Group. Mr. Gannaway was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the 17th Airborne Division. He was also a graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. They leave a daughter, Celia Wallace of Fayetteville, Tenn.; three sons, Jeff Gannaway of Tunica, Miss., Steve Gannaway of Friendsville, Tenn., and James Joyner Gannaway III of Collierville, and 12 grandchildren. Mrs. Gannaway also leaves two sisters, Kathryn Kuzminski of Pinebluff, N.C., and Anne Deaton Sulzmann of Encinitas, Calif. Mr. Gannaway also leaves a sister, Margaret Telford of Clarksville, Tenn., and two brothers, John Gannaway of Albuquerque, N.M., and Rev. Dr. Bruce Gannaway of Louisville, Ky.
