GREENSBORO, NC Gerald Myers "Jerry" Bolling was born in Greensboro on December 17, 1930. He died at Beacon Place on May 15, 2010.

Jerry attended Curry High School and Elon College. He worked in sales for John Robbins Motor Company and later retired from Ford Body Company in 1992.

Jerry was a member of the Guilford Grays and also served in the United States Marine Corps.

Surviving are Mary, his wife of 30 years; daughters Beth Sartore (Bill), Anne Schroth (Peter), all of Greensboro, Lynn Reynolds (David) of Raleigh; stepson Greg Wedding of Greensboro; six grandchildren, John and Emma Reynolds, Joe and Jack Sartore, and Otto and Angus Schroth. He is also survived by a brother Richard G. Bolling of Greensboro.

A memorial service was held at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 3 pm.
