RUFFIN Dewey Franklin Bolden Jr., 62, of 831 Ashland Rd. died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Virginia Medical Center in Salem, Va.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2010 and burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with Military Graveside Rites.

A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late Dewey Franklin and Cliffie Alma Dent Bolden and he had lived in Caswell Co. for the past 10 years but had spent most of his life in Reidsville. He was a maintenance worker at Lake Reidsville, a US Army Veteran, and was preceded in death by a brother: David Bolden.

Surviving Mr. Bolden are his wife, Susan Brame Bolden of the home; a son, Dewey Kevin Bolden of the home; daughter, Melissa Parker (Christopher) of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Eugene Bolden (Geneva) of Reidsville; three sisters, Joann Bolden and Mary Smith (James) both of Reidsville, Karen Neiman (Mike) of Summerfield; sister-in-law, Sandra Bolden of Eden; two grandchildren, Aaron Scott Bolden and Carlie McKenna Parker.
