VENTURA COUNTY, CA David Kevin Bagwell, 44, of Greensboro, died Thursday, November 19, 2009, in Ventura County, California.

David was a graduate of Page High School, earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from NC A & T State University, and received an MBA from Pepperdine University.

He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow brotherhood.

David spent eight years in the US Army Infantry, served as a long-range reconnaissance squad leader in Panama, and was a member of the White House Army Honor Guard from 1982-1986 under President Reagan.

He was the owner of Bagwell Construction Services and had 25 years of experience in construction management and business.

David is survived by his daughters, Katie and Emily Bagwell of Moorpark, CA; parents, Will and Nancy Bagwell of Reidsville; brothers and sisters, Ray and Pam Bagwell of Apex, Terri Bagwell Roberts of Greensboro, and Rob Bagwell of Concord; nephews and niece, Jeremy, Ben and Ashley Bagwell, Damon and Jordan Roberts; and grandparents Lee and Garnet Suttles of Greensboro.
