FORMER COMMERCE RESIDENT DIES AT RIDGEWAY SUNDAY

Services conducted Monday afternoon at Ridgeway. Interment
will be at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.

Mrs. Virginia Nesbitt Haddock passed away Sunday at the home of her son, David Haddock of Ridgeway, where she has made her home for the past two years. She formerly lived here, and was 87 years old at the time of her demise.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. Clark Russell of Sulphur Springs, with burial in Rosemound Cemetery here. The Odom Funeral Home was in charge.

Mrs. Haddock was born in 1849 in Tennessee, and in 1866 was united in marriage with Calvin Haddock. Six children and her husband preceded her in death, with the following five children surviving; Mrs. Lizzie Wells, Stanton; Mrs. Tommie Moore, Cumby; Mrs. Ruth Maloy, Wheeler; Mrs. Kate Prim, Ft. Worth; and the son with whom she made her home. Also surviving are several grandchildren. Mrs. Haddock had been a faithful Methodist since the age of ten.
