Deceased Name: W. HENRY PIERSALL

W. Henry Piersall, 73, of Gristwood Road, died Wednesday evening at S. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, after a long illness.

A native of Oneida, Mr. Piersall had lived in Cleveland and Fulton before moving to Pennellville about 45 years ago. He retired in 1975 as a machine operator with Crucible Steel, Syracuse, after working for the company for 35 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Laura Gristwood; a daughter, Mary E. Pickard of Clay; four sisters, Mary Alfano of Fulton, Rebecca Davis and Blanche Gravlin, both of Oswego, and Helen Dence of Central Square; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 206 S. Main St., Central Square.

Contributions may be made to the Palermo Fire Department equipment fund.
