Chris Hanson Succumbs Monday
Services Thursday
Chris Hanson, 74, long-time resident of Chester, passed away Monday morning of an apparent heart attack.
Chris was born March 18, 1893 at Alexandria, Minn. He married Leatha Morgan at Chester Sept. 20, 1917, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Albert and Alfred, both of Chester. Three daughters, Mrs. W. W.
Reams (Edith) of Springfield, VA., Mrs. Edward Jensen (Beth) of Kalispell, Mont. and Mrs. James Bergh (Beverly) of Spokane, Wash. A baby daughter, Mary Louise, preceeded him in death in 1930.
He is also survived by one brother, Clifford of Chester and two sisiters, Mrs. Harry Hoffner of Chester and Mrs. Glen Gifford of Hamilton, and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Thursday morning at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Chester with Pastor Joseph Walla officiating. Burial was in the Chester cemetery,
