ISAAC COVERDALE IS DEAD NEAR LAPEL
Funeral Services Saturday at M.E. Church - Other News Notes.
LAPEL, Ind., April 11 - Isaac Coverdale, age 80, is dead at his home 1 1/2 miles south of town. Surviving are the widow, one son, George Coverdale, a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Partain, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Haas and Mrs. Hester Schuyler; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, all living in or near Lapel.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the M. E. church of which he was a member, by Rev. O. H. Lydy, of the U. B. church. Burial will be at Brookside cemetery.
Mr. Coverdale was born in Hamilton county, three miles southwest of town, where he lived until 1878, when united in marriage to Mrs. Jane Schuyler. They purchased the farm where death occurred.
