Dorothy V. Kint, 90, of Coal Valley, died April 10, 2007 at Trinity Pathway Hospice at Terrace Park, Bettendorf, IA.

There will be a graveside service 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2007 at Memorial Park, Rock Island in the mausoleum. Memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.

Dorothy was born January 6, 1917 in Peoria, IL to Albert and Jenny (Martin) Fritz. She married Burl "Bunk" Kint on March 16, 1936 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death.

Dorothy was a nurse working for the Prescription Shop, Moline, Dr. F. Cenedella and the former Moline Public Hospital.

Dorothy was past president of the PTA at Garfield Elementary School, Moline, and past secretary and treasurer of other various organizations. She was an avid reader, cook and traveler.

She is survived by:
Daughters Peggy (Rick) Huffstutler Coal Valley
Bonnie (Tom) Williams Guilford, CT

Son Bradley Kint Stanton, CA

Grandchildren Robert, Penny and Rick Williams
Kristine MaGee

7 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and a sister.
