Katrina (Katherine) Leinweber was the sixth child born to Jacob Leinweber and Catherine Schneider Leinweber in Hesse Darmstadt, Holzhausen, Germany. She was born December 13, 1842, died May 14, 1921, married Henry Christian Lang, Sr. He was born January 28, 1833, died December 28, 1865. Henry Lang was killed at a sawmill sawing lumber. A limb fell on him and killed him, leaving Katrina with three small children.
