OBITUARY
Mrs. Jerusha Hooker
Mrs. Jerusha Hooker, widow of the late Robert Hooker, was found dead in her bed Thursday morning at Maryland, evidently having passed away while asleep; as she was lying in a natural position and seemed to have died without a struggle. It was a great suprise when the news spread over the phone, as she had been as well as usual when she retired at night.
She leaves two sons, Edmund and Robert and one daughter, Miss Hattie, who lives at home and has been ill a long time; also eight grandchildren and a host of friends who mourn her loss.
The funeral was held at the home Saturday at 11 o'clock, the Rev. Van Woert of Schenevus officiating, and the interment was at Westvilie. She was 82 yeas of age.
