Marion Kendall 'Butch' Joy The Oregonian OBIT 08/23/03 A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, in Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring for Marion Kendall "Butch" Joy, who died Aug. 20 at age 60. Mr. Joy was born Feb. 24, 1943, in Hays, Kansas to Marion Kenneth Joy Sr.and Amelia Adelia Gottschalk . He moved in 1962 to Gresham. He was a boilermaker and later a concrete finisher. On Feb. 12, 1962, he married Kathryn Ann Massey. Survivors include his wife; sons, Bill and Brad; daughters, Michele Norquist, Marcia Joy and Melissa Anderson; brothers, Tim, Terry, Mitchell, James and Glen; sisters, Janet Leiker, Joyce Hanson, June Robinson, Jackie Maharg and Jill Huffman; and 14 grandchildren.
