Actor. Kanner a native of Bagneres du Luchon, France, is best known for his role as 'D.C. Stone' in the television series, "Softly Softly" from 1966 to 1976. He also appeared as 'Alex' in the television series, "Beau Temps, Beau Temps" from 1955 to 1958, and the films, "Nightfall" (1988), "Invasion: UFO" (1972), "Goodbye Gemini" (1970), "Connecting Rooms" (1970), "Crossplot" (1969), "The Ernie Game" (1967), "The Amorous Adventures Of Moll Flanders" (1965), and "Reach For Glory" (1962). Kanner also was a writer, director, cinematographer, editor, and actor for the films, "Kings And Desperate Men: A Hostage Incident" (1981), and Mahoney's Estate" (1972), and appeared on television in, "UFO," and "The Prisoner."
