GREENVILLE — Donna Lavonne Bailey, 78, of Greenville passed away Friday, Nov.2, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Greenville on Sept. 20, 1934, the daugh-ter of Leo I. and Kathryn M. Wable Jensen.
She was a graduate of Greenville High School with the class of 1953. She was a mem-ber of VFW Au x i l i a r y Post 5065, the Flat R i v e r Antique Car Club, the Secret Pal Club and was retired from Greenville Public Schools working 27 ½ years all at Walnut Hills School. She married James E. Bailey on Sept. 9, 1967, in the chapel of First Congregational Church in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim of Greenville; son, Timothy (Shellie) Jensen of Stanton; daughter, Vicki ( Nathan) Hunter of Oxford; stepsons, Byron Bailey of Greenville, Timothy ( Tammy) Bailey of Augusta, Maine; grandchil-dren, Amber ( Phil Agans) Jensen, Briana Sellers and Michael Bailey; her brother-in law, Jack Bailey of Greenville; and sister-in-law, Crystal Lund of Sheridan; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Jeremy Jensen in 1986; and Brittany Sellers in 1995; and also her brother, Roger Jensen.
Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Wednesday Nov. 7, 2012, at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with the Rev. Steve Charnley as offici-ant.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where envelopes for memorial con-tributions may be given to Spectrum Health Hospice. Messages of condolence may be sent via hurstfuneral-home.
