Coronary thrombosis has been listed as the cause of the death of Theodore Arlt, 41, of Rt. 2, Aberdeen, who was found dead in his pasture early Monday morning.

The thrombosis could conceivably have been brought about by the excitement or exertion from a possible struggle with an unruly cow, Dr. W.E. Gorder, Brown County coroner, said after an autopsy. No injuries were found on Mr. Arlt, the coroner added.

Services for Mr. Arlt will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church by the Rev. E.W. Von Busch.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gates Funeral Home from 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Arlt was born Jan. 1, 1915, at Ashley, N.D., and grew to manhood there. He married Viola Miller at Venturia, N.D., Dec. 30, 1940. Their first home was established on a farm near Ashley.

In 1941 he entered the armed services and was attached to the military intelligence division. He served overseas and was discharged in 1945. In 1953 the family moved to a farm near Aberdeen. Mr. Arlt was a member of the First Baptist Church in Aberdeen.

Survivors include his widow, two sons, T. Arly and Roger Lee, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Arlt of Ashley; and three brothers, Adolph of Ashley, Edwin of Aberdeen, and Reuben of Rapid City.
