Etta June Adkins, 83, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away June 18, 2012 at the hospital in Durant, Oklahoma. She was born on January 23, 1929 to the late Harvey Elmer Smith and Maggie Mae Kasiner Smith in Kinta, Oklahoma. Etta married Bobby Ray Adkins on August 20, 1971 at McAlester, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1996. They made their home in Stigler, Muskogee, McAlester and Mountain View before moving to Madill in 1981. Etta worked as a Dietician for several years. She was a member of the OES and United Pentecostal Church of Madill. Etta enjoyed bowling, gardening, flowers, cooking, sewing, knitting and reading.

She is survived by: Son: Harvey Amerson Wilson and wife Debbie, Madill, Ok; Daughter-in-law: Sharon Wilson, Carnegie, Ok; Grandchildren: Travis, Jeromy and Shane Wilson; Great Grandchildren: Zachary, Trystyn, Zane, Aubree, Ziana and Addyson; Brother: Billy Eugene Smith, McAlester, Ok; Sisters: Martha Daniel, Stigler, Ok, Betty Davis, Madill, Ok; Host of nieces and nephews. Etta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Albert Douglas Wilson, brothers; Roy, James, Jay and George Smith and sisters; Goldie Smith, Hazel Neal and Virgie Mitchell. Casket Bearers: Jack McConnell, Dale Wren, Lynn Richardson, James Allen Smith, Jeromy Wilson, Shane Wilson. Honorary Bearers: Zachary Wilson and Zane Wilson.
