No father was listed. Hugh was married at the home of Texie, and her husband, Jesse Brown, on March 28, 1872, according to the same marriage record.
I believe that Texie and Elizabeth Sneed, like Hugh Sneed, were also Myra/Mira Sneed's children, and thus Robert and Lucey B. Wallace Sneed's grandchildren. Listed on the 1850, Murphy, Cherokee County census, Mira Sneed is listed with 4 year-old Elizabeth and 10 month-old Hugh, all living with a family surnamed "Manchester."
By the time of the 1860, Murphy, Cherokee County census, 14 year-old Elizabeth, 10 year-old Hugh, and 7 year-old Texie were listed with 32 year old, single, Mira, and her parents, Robert and Lucey Sneed. Had Elizabeth been Lucey's daughter, the latter would've been 46 years old at the time of her birth. Although this may be possible, the fact that the 4 year-old Elizabeth was living with Mira and the infant Hugh somewhere else in 1850, and not with Robert and Lucey Sneed,gives further support that Mira, not Lucey, was their mother.
