Arville was a U.S. Navy Aviation Ordnanceman, AO1, attached to Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron Three, HA(L)-3 Seawolves. He served with HC-1 Det 21 - 10/4/1966 to 2/17/1967, HC-1 Det 25 - 2/17/1967 to 10/4/1967 and second tour again with HA(L)-3 Det 5 - 6/10/1968 to 6/2/1969.
