Services for Lydia Lois Baker, 86, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis.

Mrs. Baker died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at an Ada hospital. She was born June 10, 1927 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Robert Leo and Era Lavada Fountain West. She attended Francis grade school and graduated from Francis High School.

She married Aubrey Baker on July 9, 1945. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2000. Mrs. Baker was a beautician and operated a beauty shop in Francis until her retirement. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Baker and his wife Judy of Ada; a daughter, Beverly Witman of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Jimmy Baker, Jr., Kelley Walker and Tammy Harbolt; five great grandchildren, Jacob Ray Baker, Megan Francise Allison, Ann Alaura Trisle, Dannin Lee Tauber and Leandra Grace Cearley; a brother, R. L. West, of Byng; and three sisters, Joy Geno of Harrah, Virgie Davis of Ada, and Shirley Hill of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Ronald Aubrey Baker in 1949; and a brother, Joe West.
