Samuel Lafeyette Bingham, a resident of Juneau, Alaska, died May 13, 2006 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in a motorcycle accident.
He was born at Ft. Hood, Texas on May 12, 1981 to Boyce and Patricia Louise Bingham.
He graduated from Juneau Douglas High School in 1999, excelling in many fields, but was particularly talented in Auto Mechanics.
Samuel married Carlene Lee on December 18, 2001 in Reno, Nevada. He joined the Army in October 2003 with his brother Seth Boyce Bingham. At the time of his death he had successfully completed Special Forces Selection and had earned the rank of E-4. He was stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, to the 82nd Airborne Division.
Samuel is survived by his wife Carlene and their two sons; Ocean 3, and Tristan 8 months; his parents and his six siblings, Brandi, Dannielle, Tannis, Seth , Benjamin, and Joseph. As well as his grand parents, Paul and Odessa Bingham, South Weber, UT; and his grandfather Myron Forbes, formally of Clearfield, UT.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, Boyce Jay and his grandmother, Violet Forbes.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Washington Terrace 7th Ward Chapel, 300 West 4800 South, Washington Terrace. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services.
Interment Clearlield City Cemetery.
