ROCHELLE - Richard E. Landaker, 73, of Rochelle, died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Rochelle Health Care West in Rochelle. He had been employed by Stokley Van Kamp and Del Monte Corporation, prior to retirement.

Mr. Landaker was born June 8, 1926 in Pomeroy,Ohio to Richard A. and Mae (Ralph) Landaker. He married Betty J. Rinehart on April 21, 1990 in Rochelle.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Kiwanis Golden K.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Survivors include his wife of Rochelle; one brother, Roy Landaker of Rochelle; and three sisters, Agnes Altenburg and Marjorie (William) Adam, both of Kings, and Judy (Richard) Dorsa of Matawan, N.J.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle, with the Rev. Chris Beamsley officiating. Burial will be at Flagg Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle handled the arrangements.

Memorials have been established to Faith Lutheran Church and the Hub City Senior Center.
