LAST RITES SET FOR MRS. CASE
Last rites for Mrs. Josephine Catherine Case, seventy-five, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the residence, 2403 W. Ninth Street. Rev. J. O. Lewis will officiate and burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
Mrs. Case died Friday night at her home as a result of a lung embolism which developed last Sunday. She had received a broken pelvis April 20 when she fell at her home and had been bedfast since then. Her condition was considered improving after the recast a few weeks ago.
Survivors include the husband Lewis Case; two daughters, Mrs. J. J. Carter of Lansing, Mich., and Mrs. D. M. Loudermilk of Fort Wayne; one grandson, Oscar Gerkins of Marion and a great-grandson, Ronald Gerkins of Marion.
The body will be returned to the home today from 710 West Third street and will lie in state until services.

MRS. CASE DIES AT HOME HERE
Resident of Marion Since 1893 Succumbs; Funeral Services to be Held Monday
Mrs. Josephine Catherine Case, 75, who died last night at her home, 2403 West Ninth Street, where she had resided since 1893.
Mrs. Case suffered a broken pelvis in a fall at her home April 20, and was confined to her bed since then. The case, was removed three weeks ago, and she was thought to be recovering. A lung embolism developed Sunday and she was unconscious from then until her death last night.
Mrs. Case moved from Whitley county to Marion 48 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at her residence. Burial will be in IOOF cemetery. The body will be returned from 710 West Third street to her home Sunday morning to remain until time of the funeral.
Surviving are the husband, Lewis Case; two daughters, Mr. J. J. Carter, Lansing, Mich., and Mrs. D. M. Loudermilk, Fort Wayne; one grandson, Oscar Gerkins, Marion, and a great-grandson, Ronald Gerkins, Marion.
