Son of John Barden and Catherine Doonan Barden
Charles Henry Barden, 71, of 720 S. Eighth Avenue died this morning at about 7:05 o'clock at the home of his brother, Walter Barden, 1302 Sixth St. following two years illness. He was a painter by trade and retired from that work about ten years ago.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:45 o'clock at the Barden Funeral Home and 9 o'clock at St. Michaels's Catholic Church. The Rev. John Krakowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.,,
Mr. Barden was born in Wausaau, March 23, 1878 and was married here to Frances Ann Payne who died April 24, 1936. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Pergolski, 720 S. Eighth Avenue; a sister Margaret Ryan, Hamilton City, California, his brother, and 14 grandchildren.
