John Burt
John Burt, 91, of 613 Toledo Street, died at 4 o'clock this morning in Bixby Hospital where he had been a patient since Jan. 31.
Mr. Burt was born July 27, 1875 in Lenawee County. He married Lois Lonis July 27, 1895, in Clayton and she preceded him in death Oct. 9, 1945. He was an employe of the New York Central Railroad all his adult life, until his retirement.
Surviving are one son, Sheldon Burt of Toledo Street with whom he had made his home; one daughter, Mrs. Neil (Frances) Every of Adrian; three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by one brother, Oni Burt, and one sister, Harriet.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Everiss Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Dover Cemetery.
