SAM ALLEN DIES AT PINEDALE
Word reached here Wednesday morning over the wire that Sam Allen, a resident of Pinedale had passed suddenly away that morning, no particulars of the cause of death being given.
Mr. Allen with his family resided in Piney a year ago this winter, he having been employed as freighter by the Standard Timber Co., and was well known here and throughout the Green River Valley, having resided in the country for a number of years.
He leaves to mourn his passing a wife and three children and several other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning by Rev. H.C. Kimmel of this place; and interment will be made in Pinedale cemetery.

The funeral services of Samuel D. Allen were held Saturday morning from the Congregational Church, Rev. Kimmel, of Big Piney officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Pinedale cemetery. Regardless of the bad weather many friends were present from out of town.
The undersigned desire to convey through the columns of the Roundup their most sincere and heartfelt thanks to the good people of Pinedale and vicinity, for the the kindness and consideration shown during the illness of our husband and father, Samuel D. Allen. The helpful hands ever ready to assist and the innumerable thoughtful act were such that they never will be forgotten.
