Charles Douglas Good was born February 11, 1860 and died March 1, 1915.

He was the son of Jacob Jackson Good & Catherine Bachman Good . . . both parents born in Ohio.

Charles was born in Turkey Creek Township, Cumberland Co, IL, as were several of his siblings (with the rest being born in Ohio). He had the following siblings: Elizabeth, John Robert, Sarah, William, Hiram Newton, Solomon, Semantha, James, Tilda and George Washington.

Charles was a painter by profession.

MO death certificate #13199.

Brother: Hiram Newton Good (1859-1921) is also buried here at Grays Point.

On February 27, 1892, at Lamar, Barton Co, MO, Charles married Dora Ellen Piper, my grandmother. This was her second marriage and his first. They divorced 5 years later and to my knowledge, Charles did not remarry. Dora did remarry . . . to Edward Michael Simon, my grandfather.
