Funeral services for Mr. Don Beaty, 88, of the Crossroads Community near Monterey, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2003, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.
Burial was in Welch Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Arlen Bryant officiating.
Mr. Beaty died Tuesday, May 27 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was an electrician, a member of New Life Christian Fellowship World Wide Church of God in Cookeville, and a World War II Navy veteran.
Born April 26, 1915, in Fentress County, he was the son of the late Isaac and Martha (Lynch) Beaty.
Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Ella (Hicks) Beaty of Monterey; and a host of other relatives and friends.
