Deacon Will Branch was born November 26, 1901 in Pattison, Waller County, Texas to the late Nelson(Nelse) and Frankie Bufford Branch. He grew up and attended school in the Pattison Community.
He confessed Christ in 1918 and was baptized by Rev. Dove. He united with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Pattison, Texas , later joined Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church Brookshire, Texas and West Mt. Olive Baprist in Simonton, Texas, pastor Rev. J.E. Wilkins, Sr. He loved God and the church. He loved his family.
He married Eudorah Oliver in 1922. In April, 1945, Eudorah passed. In 1947 he married Rosa Lee Diggs. One son and one daughter preceded him in death.
He died Friday, May 27, 1983. He leaves to mourn four daughters:Maggie Branch Wilkins of Brookshire, Texas, Mattie Lee Branch Adams of Houston, Texas, Wilma Le Branch Curvey Chase of Grapeland, Texas,and Versa Mae of Houston, Texas.
Living sisters: Sarah Beckley of Pattison, Texas and Vada Beckley of Baytown, Texas. Living brothers: Rev. Nelson Branch, Jr., Eugene Branch, both of Pattison, Texas and Rufus Branch of Chicago, Illinois. Living aunt: Celest Brown of Brookshire, Texas.
