Esther Lucille White married Maurice Victor Ayers (son of Dr. Victor Bodine and Sara E. “Sadie” (Rapier) Ayers) May 28, 1931, in Royal Oak, Oakland, Michigan. Maurice was born June 12, 1904, in Isabella County, Michigan and died September 22, 1988, in Seattle, King, Washington.

Their children were Thomas Walton, and twins Harry and Richard Ayers.

Esther died in childbirth.
