Bertha Bernice Avey Allen, 83, of Mountain View, AR passed away June 2, 2015. She was born February 21, 1932 in Mountain View to Lee and Julia Elgin Avey.

Bernice is survived by daughters Susie Long of Branson, MO, Marilyn and husband David Nichols of Mountain View, Debbie and husband Ruben Mendiola of Bald Knob, AR and Paula Stewart of Mountain View; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law Alta Avey, two brothers-in-law, Carson Finch and Bobby Allen, several nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, one son Michael Allen, one granddaughter Leslie Stewart, one brother Charlie Avey, two sisters, Dorothy Finch and Dulcie Kirby.

Services will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Flatwoods Cemetery with Brother David Campbell officiating.

Pallbearers will be served by Bertha's son-in-laws and Grandsons.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Clinton Funeral Service.
