Randall L. Baker, 55, of Des Moines passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 19, 2012. Randy has been cremated. A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southgate Masonic Lodge, 1111 Randolph Street in Des Moines.

Randy grew up in Ankeny, and was the son of Gerald and Harriet Baker. He lived in the Des Moines area his entire life. Randy graduated in 1975 from Ankeny High School. After graduation Randy served in the Army. He was employed with PSCI from 1988 to 2009. In 2009 he went on to MarketLink where he gained many friends as well as many awards for his work.

Randy had many loves in his life which included his sons, Ryan and Skyler. He enjoyed hunting with his son Ryan. He also enjoyed fishing and also was an avid bowler and golfer. Every 4th of July he looked forward to going Missouri with his best friend Mike to get fireworks.

Randy is survived by his son, Ryan Haag; ex-wife, Kimberly Baker both of Des Moines; his mother, Harriet Baker; sister, Kris Baker both of Dallas Texas. Randy is also survived by his best friend, Mike Beyerink, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Skylar Randall Baker.

A memorial has been established in Randy's loving memory.
